Project
Kinchant Street Civil Construction Services
RAM is providing essential civil construction services for a multi-storey residential development Quesnel on Kinchant Street in downtown Quesnel, acting as a civil subcontractor to MDM Construction. Our scope includes excavation services, foundation backfill, site servicing, underground duct bank installation, precast utility vaults, utility relocation, and curb, gutter, and sidewalk reinstatement.
Working in downtown areas presents unique challenges. The street remains partially open, with other trades ongoing and the public passing by daily. Effective traffic control, hydrovac services around existing utilities, and tight sequencing are critical to success, all taking place just a block from Quesnel City Hall.

Precast Utility Vaults
Setting precast utility vaults in the middle of a working street is a challenge often addressed by civil construction services. Everything arrives on a truck, carefully navigates over live services, and must land accurately inside a hole that other trades are anxiously waiting on, especially in residential development Quesnel where excavation services are critical for timely project progress.

Underground Duct Bank
We are installing a duct bank as part of our civil construction services for a servicing package. The downtown area is full of unexpected obstacles, so we’ll start with hydrovac excavation services around the existing utilities before proceeding with the build. This is crucial for our residential development in Quesnel.

Curb and Sidewalk Reinstatement
Curb, gutter, and sidewalk reinstatement are completed according to the city’s expectations. In a downtown job, this aspect is what the public notices the most, making it a key focus during evaluation. Our civil construction services ensure that these elements are restored with precision, which is crucial for projects involving excavation services and residential development in Quesnel.
